Pelvic inflammatory disease & STD: 25% of infertility in women is due to STD's. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or PID refers to the infection of the fallopian tubes which carries the egg from ovary to the uterus (womb).
It also refers to the infection of other internal reproductive organs of women and lead to infertility in women.
Substance abuse- tobacco, alcohol, psychotropic drugs: studies have shown a higher risk of miscarriage and inability to conceive in women who take tobacco, alochol or any form of psychotropic drugs.
